In a little over a year, Michigan based Londoner, has turned Bandcamp into a veritable vestibule for his prolific releases.

Focused on all that was so good, cool and worthy about an alternative jangle-pop scene that was so prevalent in the late 80 and early 90s, this double album career retrospective (so far) of his music is centred around three albums:

Tracks 1-15: 'Greatest Hits Volume 1'
Tracks 16-30: 'Et Cetera: B-sides & more',

....are all pithy, fuzzy, jangled riff energies which imbue all manner of C86 playfulness into their 2 (ish) minute songs, whereas,

'Greatest Hits Volume 2' album (tracks 31-45)

...extend track length and reduce the fuzz to reveal everything jangly indie-pop about the era's Sarah Records scene and all it eventually inspired and the roughshod sounds of the early 90s jangle scene.

The man cannot stop writing and after listening to this, you will not want him to, for C86 has arisen !!!

This isn’t a record review. Or maybe it is. But I fell asleep while listening to this album and had a wonderful dream: I was riding my bike through a fictional version of the city where I was born. You know what I mean- familiar, but strangely new? I rode through predawn darkness. The sun began to rise and made the city glow. Two buildings stood out, a liquor store and a pasta factory.
